Found A Cat You Think Is Lost/Stray?
If you have found a healthy cat you believe to be lost or stray follow these steps to find the owners.
Please note: Many cats are incorrectly thought to be stray when they have just wandered from home or are lost. An animal rescue shelter should only be contacted to take the cat as a last resort (unless the cat is injured or in danger).
1– Speak to all of your neighbours. Knock on all the doors in your street, the streets behind, 2 streets away etc. Cats can wander quite far
2– Take to vets to see if microchipped(the vet will not charge for this) or contact a rescue to bring a scanner round
3– Put a paper collar on the cat with your telephone number and a message to call you
4– Put posters up
5– Post in your local lost pets facebook groups:

Vaccination Policy – Will need to see your cat’s up-to-date inoculation certificate which will be kept during your pets stay.
All dogs must have up to date vaccinations for Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Infectious Hepatitis and Leptospirosis. These are all included in your pet’s annual routine vaccination.
We recommend that all dogs are vaccinated against kennel cough before they board with us however it is not compulsory. If you do decide to have your dog vaccinated against kennel cough it is MUST be done at least two weeks prior to boarding.

Vaccination Policy – All cats must have been vaccinated against cat flu and feline enteritis within the last twelve months and a completed vaccination record card must be shown on arrival. In the case of primary vaccinations, these must be completed at least two weeks prior to arrival. Vaccination against feline leukaemia is also recommended.
Cannot accept male cats over one year of age that have not been neutered.
All cats must have been treated with a prescription flea treatment within four weeks of arrival.
